PB Products Downforce is the ultimate leadcore leader, finished in the colour Weed. The material features a braided outer sheath combined with an extra heavy yet supple core, allowing the leader to sink extremely fast and blend perfectly with the lakebed. Using the included splicing needle, you can easily construct leaders in any desired length that lie tight to the bottom and effortlessly follow its contours.
Downforce is particularly suited for shallow and clear waters where discretion is critical. On venues with cautious carp that approach bait carefully, this material can make a measurable difference. Due to its high specific weight, additional putty is unnecessary, ensuring a neat and fish safe presentation.
We always recommend using a safe lead system in combination with leadcore leaders.
